The centerpiece of the event is the release of hundreds of lanterns with art, wishes, and memorials (don’t worry, we collect all the materials at the end–they don’t end up as litter!) Lantern kits and markers will be available at the festival, with the public invited to add drawings, prayers, memorials, or any other customization they wish.
